Hi, I'm the creator of Ubuntu Unity Remix (@ubuntuunitydiscuss). I'm working on Unity9 and would be interested in collaborating with you guys. Do you have any plans to release Lomiri for Focal Fossa, in the near future?
So, let me introduce myself for people who don't know me. A few years ago I almost entirely packaged Unity8 for Arch (now called Lomiri for Arch)
It still has a lot of open issues that I'm not competent enough to resolve myself, but it launches. I've been slowly updating it with the help of the UBports team and some of my contributors, but Arch target was low priority for the UBports team, so a lot of issues are still relevant
I have a lot of spare time now, and I'm willing to continue working on this project. If you are willing to work together, you can hop in to https://t.me/lomiri_arch to discuss what needs to be done and I will prioritize that work for you
I have been working on improving the CI process to automate rebuilds and to enable building for arm targets, but I haven't finished it yet. There is a half a year old ISO image that doesn't represent what's there at the moment, but it gives a brief idea of the progress
I am also the author of Halium for Arch project. I have been working with Arch-based rootfs for Halium, and it was proven to be pretty stable. I have been planning to make Arch based rootfs with Lomiri preinstalled once the major issues with Lomiri are resolved
